This is decidedly not your mother-in-law's "oak-bomb" Chardonnay. It has a creamy mid-palate but it's very modern in style, with a really nice balance of fresh acidity, bright fruit, and toasty biscuit notes. If you love La Crema Chardonnay, 'Intercept' Chardonnay is the one for you!
The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper, and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet.
