Highland single malt from Oban distillery, which has been double matured in montilla fino sherry seasoned casks for this 2022 release of the Distillers Edition. The signature light and briny style of this whisky has been complimented here by the dry and fruity sherry.
Rich gold in color. Vanilla with a hint of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke on the nose. Deliciously smooth on the palate with rich dried fruits and sherry balanced with wood smoke and spice.
On the nose this whiskey brings vivacious walnut & wheat aromas. On the palate it is sweet and refined, with mild spices & honey. Togouchi is an artisanal Japanese whisky brand, located in Southern Japan, with over 100 years of heritage & savoir-faire in the craft.
In this, our first release, 48% of the whiskies have been aged in ex-Sherry casks and 25% in ex-Spanish red wine casks. You will find a whisky that is full, soft and sumptuous on the palate with flavours of citrus peel and pears poached in red wine and spices.
This majestic 26-Year-Old blended Scotch whisky takes its inspiration from the glorious wilds of Scotland, the kingdom that Royal Salute calls home, and pays tribute to this mighty kingdom by finishing this exceptional 26-Year-Old blend in virgin Scottish oak casks, make from trees felled from a single forest in the heart of Scotland, for the very first time.
Amber with dark gold highlights, full ripe and sweet, with finely peated with aromas of orange marmalade, honey, coffee, sherry and nuttiness. The finish is fresh with a long lasting smoky maltiness.
This blended malt whisky has a nose that is instantly recognizable as a well-matured whisky. There is both the richness of ripe fruit and cask, and the complex flavors will change its character as the finish approaches.
Numerous parts of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23 Year Bourbon are dark: dim organic products, dim flavors, coffee simmered espresso, browned butter singed oak, toasted nuts, and star anise are the champion flavors.
Taken from the very last 1984 casks from Talisker, set aside and guarded for decades for their promising potential. At the time few knew of Talisker’s tempestuous maritime character, but there was something special about these 1984 casks that made the distiller set them aside.
Fine, distinguished. On the first nose, a herbaceous, salty and empyreumatic (sleet) peat clearly dominates. Allowed to breathe, it makes way for fruits (apple, pear, Canary melon), flowers (lily, carnation) and mint, all of which bring lots of momentum to the aroma palette.
