Frequently hailed as one of Ireland's finest whiskies, Redbreast is revered for its bright, stewed fruit character. This 18-year-old is a sumptuous example of its house style, with notes of red orchard fruit, candied mango and sultanas, underpinned by lovely, warming spices, and fresh cherries.
Tamnavulin, from Tomnavoulin, Ballindalloch, Banffshire, is one of the many distilleries built in the boom period of the 1960s to keep up with the public interest. Sweet and zesty with lots of fruity notes – such as pineapple, grapefruit and banana – through most of the dram but the finish is more mellow and provides a calming, smooth end to the experience.
Bruichladdich 18 Year Old is created using a combination of Islay, Organic, and Scottish mainland barley. The Whisky is matured primarily in bourbon casks, with a smaller proportion of Sauternes and Port casks.

A first, and last, this is the first 1987 The Singleton of Glen Ord vintage and the only one ever to be released, from the last casks that remain. Slow crafting and patience were key to this rare bottling, taking time to distil the liquid and see each cask reach its peak. The result is an elegant liquid with a fragrant nose and creamy-smooth texture. The sweetly satisfying taste holds deep fruity flavours with hints of ginger.
This bourbon is described as having an aroma explosion of sweet, rich fruit and toasted nuts, followed by figs, hints of spicy tobacco and subtle cedar. The palate is sweet with a soft, round initial impression followed by a myriad of aged fruits and nuts. the finish is balanced and sweet with notes of spicy oak. This whiskey was finished in Oloroso sherry casks for approximately one to four years.

A lovely 18 year old bottling that perfectly illustrates the qualities of Glencadam’s flowery single malt.Despite having been around for about 200 years, Glencadam is one of those distilleries that is often overlooked. Releases like this bottling suggest this will not be the case for much longer.
Notes of cherry and baked apple but supplemented with jammy fruit notes and balanced with the enticing aroma of vanilla, brown spice, and toasted pecans. Bold and sweet with the toasty notes of French and American oak rounding out to a long, smooth finish that lingers.
