The Matton-Farnets have been in the wine industry for almost three centuries, beginning at the Domaine de Chateauneuf in Vidauban, and continuing at Château Minuty from 1936 where Gabriel Farnet, the grandfather of François and Jean-Etienne, the current owners, set up.
Thanks to night harvesting, the cuvee benefits from several hours of low temperature skin-contact maceration. The different grape varietals are vinified separately with temperature controlled at 60 degrees F following cold settling.
