Flat Top Hills Red Blend is a mouth-watering, medium to full bodied wine with cinnamon stick and spie components that marry well with generous, dark fruit and bright raspberry fruit notes. This well-structured, balanced wine statisfies the palate with a medium to long finish.
The wine are very fruity, floral and aromatic with lots of elegance. good salinity on the finish. This wine is both ample yet lively, fresh yet rich.
The Fog Monster Bedrock Red is an heirloom field blend of 27 different grape varieties, including Zinfandel (55%), Carignan (15%), and Mataro (10%), sourced from the eponymous Bedrock single vineyard planted in 1888. These exceptionally old vines are planted on deep alluvial riverbed soils which produce a particularly dense and complex wine with a core of plush red berry fruit, citrus peel and clove spice, structured by tightly knit tannins and a signature freshness. On the nose there are notes of white pepper, fennel, coriander and dark fruit. The palate is firm, dense and dry, with a tight, fresh finish.
Kisi grape were selected from our old vineyards, and fermented for six months in the traditional clay vessel - Ovevri buried in the ground in our wine cellar. After the primary fermentation the wine is pressed and transferred to the French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation. Aromas of dried peach, pines and white flowers, The palate is full, with flavors of black tea and pears supported by firm tannins, followed by a long lingering finish.
The Riserva is exclusively produced during the best vintages following an even more scrupulous grape selection. A wine of outstanding structure, it is enhanced by a very long aging period in French and Slavonian oak barrels.
Pauillac at its best is deep, intense, full and powerful — the iron fist in a velvet glove. This benchmark example from a well-sited property, with vineyards planted in deep gravel soils, is mainly cabernet sauvignon and has lovely, pure, intense fruit with refined tannins on the finish.
Jean-Philippe feels this is the perfect example of Meursault. There is a nice touch of gunflint reduction on the nose, which leads into intense stone fruit before tightening up again with a twist of lime acidity on the finish.
36 year old vines grown in Franciscan shale and sandy loam over serpentine in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 2,200’, on the top of Montebello Road above Cupertino. Destemmed and fermented with native yeast then basket pressed to 20% new French oak barrels for 22 months. 10 barrels produced.
