An alluring inky-purple achievement, the 2022 Abstract is replete with a vivid nose of red and black stone fruits, candied cherry, cassis, dried floral notes, and sweet oak accents.

This name indicates simply that the grapes for this Brunello come from their own vineyards, all situated in the same macro-zone on the South-East slope of Montalcino. In 2011, the grapes for the Brunello “Vigneti del Versante” come from two vineyards with similar characteristics – Cancello Rosso and Pian Bassolino.
As it should, this presently has an entirely different aromatic profile with its ripe and fresh combination of earth and sauvage characters together with both red and dark currant scents.
