Each year, our goal for Southing is to create the ideal marriage of complexity and elegance. Southing exhibits aromas of fresh strawberry, rose water, Rainier cherry and subtle baking spices. The fine tannins and minerality are enhanced by our estate vineyard’s characteristic cool climate acidity.
Very floral in the nose with scents of honeysuckle and gardenia flowers, this wine is balanced and finesseful on the palate with our usual firm acidity. The finish is long, subtle, and mineral-laced.
The La Fenêtre Chardonnay from Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley is a refined, complex white wine with vibrant acidity and a balanced oak influence. It offers notes of crisp apple, citrus, and subtle minerality, making it a sophisticated choice for lovers of California Chardonnay.
Ruby colour. Aromas of red fruits, prunes, cinnamon and blackcurrant leaf. Well-balanced wine with harmonious acidity and soft texture. Excellent accompaniment to roast chicken and grilled red meat dishes. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
Qvevri Saperavi is a deep red color wine with dark purple hints, made in traditional ancient way. Nose is intense, offering aromas of fresh ripe red fruits and minty flavours. Mouth is soft and juicy finishing on sweet spices and young tannins.
36 year old vines grown in Franciscan shale and sandy loam over serpentine in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 2,200’, on the top of Montebello Road above Cupertino. Destemmed and fermented with native yeast then basket pressed to 20% new French oak barrels for 22 months. 10 barrels produced.
