The 2022 Organic Sauvignon Blanc is tropical and rich on the nose. The wine leads with salted pineapple, peach, brine and stewed apples. In the mouth, it is broad, flat and simple. There is fruit there, but its final, best year might be this one. Drink up. 85 Points Wine Advocate
Luca Paretti Brut appears soft yellow with lime green hues and fine bubbles that produce understated aromas of green apple and peach with floral notes. It has a soft, but fresh, acidity on the mouth and the hint of fruit is delightfully pleasurable for those who enjoy exotic fruit on the palate.
A very good example of a coastal sauvignon, this one comes from the San Antonio Valley, from vineyards about 15 miles from the Pacific. It has intense herbal aromas and a bit of white fruit and floral tones. It's powerful in acidity, with a creamy, agile body. A perfect companion for any fish and shellfish menu.
Easy drinking honeyed stone fruit with supporting tannins. Fermented on the skins in tank. Aged in neutral French oak barrels.
Altos Las Hormigas was founded in 1995 by Alberto Antonini, renowned Italian winemaker, and Antonio Morescalchi, moved by the potential of Malbec. The team is completed by Atilio Pagli, the Chilean Pedro Parra, soil specialist, and Fede Gambetta, today in charge of the day to day. The incessant fight against ants in organic vineyards gives rise to the name.
Deep ruby in color with an attractive bouquet of strawberries and raspberries with hints of black pepper. Full and velvety on the palate with flavors of plum, cocoa, and smoke with smooth tannins and a firm, supple core.
Bright ruby red in appearance. The nose is bursting with berry aromas, spice and cocoa. Full of flavor on the palate with soft tannins, well-balanced acidity and a fresh finish.
An estate that's been in the hands of the same family for four generations. Winemaker Claire Laval is intent on preserving the terroir of her estate through meticulous care in the vineyard and winery. There's an excellent balance of fruit here, with a touch of woody tannins and a silken finish.
Pink-hued and funky, this skin-contact orange wine brims with clementine and orange peel notes on the nose, supported by an overtone of honeysuckle. The light palate has a texture reminiscent of citrus pith and tingles with freshness, while clementine and white pepper notes are highlighted by the bone-dry nature. It is compelling and wonderfully light. - Anne Krebiehl MW, 92 Points
Codorníu Clásico Brut (made with organic grapes), as its name indicates, is the traditional cava par excellence, made using the three classic varieties from the D.O. Cava: Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. Its fresh, fruity and delicate aromas make it the ideal option for a predinner aperitif. The versatility of this cava means that it will be your saviour on many occasions when served well chilled.
Biokult Zweigelt meets Pinot Noir is filled with juicy, ripe dark red fruit w/ a hint of cinnamon. The palate is fresh yet plush with fleshy, luscious cherry fruit. There is freshness and drive in this little fruit bomb, which seems made for the picnic basket. Earthy crushed raspberry and earthy aromas follow through on a soft, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-body with a delicate touch of spice.
