This unique bottling is a blend of Cognacs coming from ten demijohns dated from 1853-1906. So all of the Cognacs in the blend are well over 100 years old and almost all of the blend comes from the 19th century (making it considerably older than the most famous, big brand prestige cuvées like Louis XIII or Richard Hennessy). In fact, the Extreme looks like a downright bargain when compared to such wines (in both quality and price terms).
Alc. 40% by Vol.
Golden color with a fruity sweetness and a hint of vanilla in the finish. Fresh fruit and fresh oaky taste.
This cognac has a deep golden color with amber shades. A complex bouquet with aromas of citrus, peach, sandal wood and light leather notes. The taste is round and well-balanced with silk tannins.
It expresses notes of prunes, dried fruit and citrus notes combined with spicy notes, woody notes and rancio. The palate is fresh, soft and quite complex.
