The wine is produced in Kakheti region from specially selected Rkatitseli grapes. The wine perfectly displays aroma typical to this variety. Dried white fruit and pleasant tones are distinct. Slightly sour taste is combined perfectly with apple notes.
The ancient Georgian word "Gemieri" is translated as "tasty". A hand-picked variation of carefully selected and ripe grapes from the microzones Sviri in Imereti and Tsinandali in Kakheti. Kisi grape were selected from our old vineyards, and fermented for six months in the traditional clay vessel - Ovevri buried in the ground in our wine cellar. After the primary fermentation the wine is pressed and transferred to the French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation.
