As a somewhat more powerful alternative to Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch is also playing an increasingly important role at the Glatzer winery. The typical black cherry dominates the nose, plus a lot of spice with cloves and allspice, also blackberries and some orange zest, plus leafy nuances.
Mosmieri Tsinandali 2017 is a white dry wine made entirely from autochthonous Rkatsiteli grapes. Hand-harvested grapes are crushed and after short time cold maceration the juice is fermented in high quality stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Even without Mtsvane grape blending it is smooth and balanced like a classical Tsinandali.
Produced from Kisi grapes grown in our estate owned vineyards in village Tsinadali of Kakhet region. Fermentation is driven by natural yeast. Aged in oak barrels. This amber color wine with elegant palate is delivering ripened pear, tobacco and dried fruit aromas, with the hint of black tea.

The wine has a pale gold color, fruity flavor and balanced taste. This wine is recommended together with salads, cheese, dishes from poultry and fish under the temperature of 50 °F - 57 °F.
Kisi grape were selected from our old vineyards, and fermented for six months in the traditional clay vessel - Ovevri buried in the ground in our wine cellar.

The frozen Gewurztraminer grapes were harvested in late December when temperatures fell between -10ºC and -13ºC. After setting the juice in stainless steel tanks, cool fermentation was completed. The wine was then placed outside to complete a natural cold stabilization.
