With our usual earlier pick date, the 2021 retained freshness and acidity, allowing the spice, as well as a bit of Cahors earthiness to show itself. This 100% Tannat is from the estate vineyard in the Atlántida region of Canelones . The nose is layered with primary notes of blackberry, blueberry, and plum all coated in powdered white sugar, clove, and baking spices.
This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Maule region of Chile. The nose shows plum, cassis, leather, and dusty earth with light dried rose petals. On the palate the wine has smooth, soft tannins that wrap around the dark fruit core and a light finish.
