On the palate it is velvety, fresh and balanced with notes of fruit, citrus, dry apricot and slight woody nuances. It results in an elegant and fresh set, with a long and persistent aftertaste of ripe citrus fruits and nuts, walnuts and almonds.
Very dark ruby in colour almost opaque with intense aromas of very ripe fruit. Combining in highly complex wines that have great longevity.
Graham’s 10 Year Old has a deep tawny and polished copper colour. Complex aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed with a luscious and long finish.
This 50-year-old Tawny was sourced in the eastern reaches of the Douro Valley, location of many of the finest vineyard estates and traditional source of the most long-lasting wines. Prior to blending, the individual wines were aged in Taylor’s cellars in seasoned oak casks specially selected and set aside by the firm’s team of expert coopers.
A rare Port. Sought after and decadent, this is a wine that aged gently and quietly in barrel for 30 years before bottling. A blend of Roriz, Francesca, Nacional grapes with a softness that is almost beguiling.
