Fitz-Ritter Gewurztraminer Spätlese is a sumptuous and aromatic wine from Germany, offering a rich bouquet of lychee, rose petals, and exotic spices. This late-harvest wine balances sweetness with acidity, resulting in a palate that is both opulent and refreshing. It pairs beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, strong cheeses, or fruit-based desserts, showcasing its versatility and complexity.
This Riesling enchants with a very aromatic aroma of apricot and peach. The fine elegance of Riesling quality wine from Spreitzer is literally fragrant. The taste is also characterized by a fruity impression. Pear and fine apple notes as well as yellow stone fruit are present and tasty. The beautiful fruit also accompanies the finale.
An unusual white dry-style Pinot Noir from free-run juice, the wine presents a good firm structure. A perfect match for strong Indian and Asian spiced dishes. Also fantastic with a spiced duck leg, dishes with acidic sauces, roasted vegetables and soft cheeses.
Off dry with delicious fruit flavors of peach and apriocots meld together in this classic example of Mosel Riesling. J&H Selbach is the proprietary brand for the regional wines of Johannes Selbach. Johannes uses his long-standing relationships with growers around the Mittelmosel to source quality grapes for these cuvees.
This is an "estate wine" that far out-classes its name. Picked from the "Zuckerberg" plot of vines on the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, harvested early to catch maximum freshness and vitality, it combines cool marine character and a touch of creaminess with a firm, lip-smacking finish. Incredible quality at the entry level.
Hailing from the Pfalz region, Kurt Darting’s Nonnengarten Kabinett is pure drinking pleasure. A classical kabinett, but not too sweet, it shows ripe, stone fruit aromas and a burst of ripe citus on the palate framed by crisp acidity.
From 1904, Schloss Lieser served as the principal cellar and press house for Freiherr von Schorlemer’s prestigious and far-flung hundred acres [or “45 hectares”] of Mosel and Saar vineyards. Intense floral and fruity aromas with green fruit flavors of apple, grape, and pear, which can extend to citrus and stone fruit flavors, such as lemon, lime, apricot and peach.
Though Darting has a history of grape growing dating to 1780, it was not until 1989 that the winery began to sell all of their grapes as wine under their own label. The family also maintains a highly regarded vine nursery, selling their grafted vines throughout Germany.
Volker Schäfer has made his mark as a great German winemaker specializing in red wines. The estate owned by Volker and his father dates back to 1709 and it was his father’s passion for Pinot Noir that lead him to plant vines in the loam and clay slopes of the Rhine. The estate’s 24 acres produce some of the best Pinot Noirs in the Germany and are savagely underpriced.
This Auslese displays aromas and flavours of candied pears and apples. Lush, rich and expressive, it exhibits intense depth of fruit and a long flavourful finish. It is very enjoyable with spicy cuisine, but also with blue mould cheese or desserts. Serve well chilled.
A complex wine full of exotic aromas. Voluminous aroma and a complex and intensive appearance lead to a unique and perfect finish.
