The Expressionist movement originated in the 20th century and was explored initially through poetry and painting to present ideas solely from a subjective perspective. Drawing inspiration from this movement each and every one of our wines have their own expression and story to tell and when paired with food make the perfect accompaniment for any dinner party.
The inaugural release of Ben Glaetzer’s Godolphin Shiraz Cabernet, the 2004 vintage, received rave reviews from the world’s wine press with US critic Robert Parker describing it as “the stuff of legends….. the apogee of Ben Glaetzer’s winemaking talents”, scoring it 96-98 points. UK wine writer Mathew Dukes was equally impressed writing “This is the earth shatteringly brilliant younger brother to Amon-Ra, and it's a hedonistic Shiraz/Cabernet blend. Where Amon-Ra is, admittedly, totally over the top, Godolphin is near perfection.”

Chateau description: Penfolds is one of Australia’s oldest and most iconic wineries. Created in 1844 it is well known for producing heavy red wines. One of the first winery to have a multi-region and multi-wineries production.
