Macán Clásico is a wine more attached to the territory. Freshness, fruitiness and delicacy are its hallmarks. Its elaboration takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a part of malolactic fermentation in oak, and a barrel aging that ranges between 12 and 14 months depending on the characteristics of the vintage.
We work with mountain vineyards, dry-farmed bush vines, sustanably cultivated. Mall unique elaborations refined in old caves.San Frontonio, a beheaded martyr whose head was found upriver, symbolizes our spirit of going against the tide. Made from 100% Grenache. Pale ruby red with bluish hints. Redcurrant, red rose and laurel. A long and lasting wine.
Cherry red color with thin terracotta edge showing its longer barrelage. Aromas of mature black fruit, toffee and balsamic as well as some mineral notes. This is a silky wine, but fresh and refreshing as well as elegant and persistent.
Jerez is so much more than Sherry, and producers like Bodegas Barbadillo are proving that time and time again with their impressive Palomino's. This unfortified Palomino Fino comes from two organically certified vineyards close to Sanlúcar.
Clear deep ruby-purple color. Clean and distinguished aromas of black cherries and blueberry jam. These berry jam flavors attack the palate with juiciness getting smoothed out with light vanilla and delicate milk chocolate and roasted java bean. Macán Clásico is deeply attached to its territory, Rioja San Vicente de la Sonsierra compiling centuries of tradition, knowledge and winegrowing culture from the foothills of Sierra de Cantabria. It expresses freshness, fruitiness and delicacy coming from its terroir which provides depth and complexity. Macán Clásico 2016 offers the purest expression of Rioja’s Tempranillo. It’s a fresh wine, but at the same time serious, with persistence and depth.
A clean, bright, pretty red color, developing to maroon. Intense and highly complex aromas. Notes of stewed fruit. Sweet and warm hints from the barrel, and spicy nuances in the background (cinnamon). Nice and long on the palate.
A blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 24 months in French and American oak. The wine exhibits a glass-coating opaque purple color. The nose is expressive with pain grille, underbrush, brier, minerality, blueberry and blackberry fruit. On the palate is a plush, opulent wine with great density, savory flavors, and a lengthy finish.
A delicious Rioja featuring grapes picked from three sub-areas of the region, this wine is intense on the nose and smooth on the palate. Notes of juicy red berries, cocoa, cedar, and herbs lead to a pleasantly long finish. We love it paired with bean dishes, soups and stews, or grilled meat; it's a go-to red for us as cooler weather approaches.
