In homage to the ancient civilization of the Picts, MACRAY is matured in carefully selected oak casks, using centuries old knowledge, to bring you a characterful Single Malt Scotch Whisky that represents the Pictish spirit.
Rare 25-Year-Old Whisky crafted from a trio of casks distilled on June 26, 1997. Initially matured in refill butts that previously held Scotch Whisky, then finished in an Oloroso Sherry Butt for a decade. Notes of dark chocolate, nuttiness & spiced, stewed fruits.
Fragrant red apple skin, orange peel, fruit cake, vanilla and redcurrant. Palate: Silky dried fruits, almost perfumed, with dark toasty notes and some warming ginger. Finish: Figs and dark spices. Overall: Comforting and luxurious Sherried Speyside whisky.
