The Glenlivet Single Cask is an exclusive tasting experience. A unique blend bottled at its natural cask strength and without chill filtration that allows it to retain the same purity it had while maturing in the cask.
The GlenDronach 18 year old Allardice is named after the distillery’s founder, James Allardice. The Highlander was matured completely in Oloroso sherry casks, and was originally released in 2009 following the distillery changing hands back in 2008. An exceptional fruity sherried single malt.
Once experienced, never forgotten; that’s this whisky through and through. The majestic autumnal beauty of the secluded glens and the crystal-clear waters of the Cairngorms’ rivers give character to this wonderful 18 Year Old Single Malt.
Very sweet with a smooth, creamy texture, this is a Speyside whisky with chocolate and custard notes early on that indicate the dessert nature of this tipple, with slight zesty, tropical fruity notes showing that it also has a vibrant side. There are lemon notes throughout this dram, as well as vanilla sponge and marzipan that demonstrate the softer side of this whisky.
Lush oak on the nose. Malty; citrus notes blend with tobacco and ash, black tea, banana and maple syrup. Intial fruit flavors lead into honeyed tones, then toasted oak. A slow drinker.
The darkness of the hue of this...gives an indication of how intense the relationship between cask and spirit has been over its long sequestration...Dense aromas such as tamarind paste, treacle and Black Forest gateau...There's a lift of vanilla like sweetness.
A first, and last, this is the first 1987 The Singleton of Glen Ord vintage and the only one ever to be released, from the last casks that remain. Slow crafting and patience were key to this rare bottling, taking time to distil the liquid and see each cask reach its peak. The result is an elegant liquid with a fragrant nose and creamy-smooth texture. The sweetly satisfying taste holds deep fruity flavours with hints of ginger.
Golden amber in color with hints of ruby. Soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple aromas. The 12 year old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour's raw spirit is deftly softened by double cask maturation.
Diageo’s nod to the rare autumn nights where the Aurora Borealis may be seen shimmering in the night sky above Oban. The tale of The Celestial Blaze explains how a vivid light grew against the ink-black sky above Oban, driven by a celestial creature.
Highland Park has expanded its cask strength single malt whisky series with Highland Park Cask Strength Release No.3.
Created using the traditional “straight from the cask” method, this Scotch is 128.2 proof.
