This traditional white Bordeaux is made by a cooperative of talented winemakers in the picturesque region of Entre-duex-Mers. In the heart of this region you can admire the medieval castle of Rauzan in its vineyard surroundings, which is where this co-op takes its name from.

Golden in color, with a slight ivory hue. The nose opens on citrus aromas, especially lemon and grapefruit, then with airing develops hawthorn and jasmine notes as well as a touch of fresh apricot.

This blend comes from a vineyard just south of Saint-Emilion. Rounded and smooth, it is medium to full-bodied with soft tannins and a long, fresh finish. Oak is slightly used and this lets the plum, bramble jelly and blackcurrant fruit really come to the fore.

Chateau Saint Julian Bordeaux Superieur 2019 is a silky and luxurious wine that embodies the strength and elegance of a classic Bordeaux blend. Vibrant aromas and flavors of blackberry, fresh-picked blueberries, and a hint of spice create a robust and powerful profile.

Château ARBO 2019, is a dense purple colour. On the nose, a fine and subtle bouquet revealing notes of blackberries, cherries and peppermint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well supported by the freshness of its structure. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, with a juicy and fruity finish.

For red varieties, harvests began on 21 September for the ‘old’ Merlot and finished on 8 October with the Cabernet Sauvignon. The red wines are extraordinarily fruity with a deep color, powerful aromas, and silky tannins with a high concentration of polyphenols.

Grand Cru “rich and structured” with a dark and glistening robe. Concentrated nose with fragrances of dark fruits, spices, undergrowth and distinguished oak notes. Calon Château St Georges St Emilion 2019 is a prestigious red wine from the Saint-Émilion wine region in Bordeaux, France. This wine is made predominantly from Merlot grapes, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, carefully selected from the estate's vineyards.

Very expressive nose of morello cherry and brown tobacco, with sweet notes of licorice candy and peony. A complex palate, expressing violet and fresh blackcurrant, finishing with hints of thyme and a touch of bitter orange zest that gives the finish a gourmet taste.

Firm, but balanced, this is a wine with many of the virtues of the vintage. It has weight and richness, but also fresh, juicy, fruity acidity all packaged nicely in tannins.

Clos de la Vieille Eglise, the tiny property estate of Jean-Louis and Benoît Trocard, has an opulent bouquet with layers of ripe cassis and blueberry fruit, just showing a little more alcohol than its Pomerol peers. The palate is ripe and generous on the entry. I was expecting it to spill over into something overdone... but no. It is actually very elegant and harmonious with great depth and very fine persistence.
