BloodRoot Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a bold and expressive red wine crafted from a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards across Knights Valley, Rockpile, Sonoma Valley, and Dry Creek Valley, showcasing the diverse character of Sonoma County.
After being fully destemmed, the wine is fermented in small vessels over a period of 24 to 38 days to extract depth and structure. It is then aged for 27 months in a mix of oak barrels—38% new, 32% once used, and 30% neutral—adding complexity and refinement. The final wine is bottled at 14.2% alcohol by volume.
