Bizot Echezeaux Grand Cru Domaine 2014
Pinot Noir | France
A powerful, sophisticated wine made for cellaring, to be drunk alongside flavourful foods.
This cuvée is from one of the world's most highly-reputed appellations, thanks to its extreme elegance. When young, it produces a bouquet rich in fresh, fruity notes (red berries and flowers such as violet and rosehip). After a number of years of laying down, greater complexity develops with aromas of undergrowth, humus and leather. It is made for keeping, and opening it within five years is not recommended.
