Baron Herzog Jeunesse Cabernet Sauvignon
In an effort to produce Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon Jeunesse, a wine that exhibits this exceptional character, we cold fermented ripe grapes in exclusively stainless steel tanks. Hence you will enjoy a wine that is pointedly "Jeunesse" - French for youthful, vibrant, flavorful and fun. Among the enchanting secrets that often escape aficionados of Cabernet Sauvignon are the youthful nuances of character displayed during the wines infancy.
For six generations, the Herzog family produced award-winning, quality wines in their native Czechoslavakia. Since moving to the United States in 1948, that tradition has continued under the seventh and eighth generations, with a commitment to excellence undiminished by time. The winery is named after Philip Herzog who, in his position as exclusive supplier of wines to the Emperor Franz Joseph, was awarded the title of Baron in the late 1800s. Reflecting their desire to improve the environment, Herzog Wines are produced utilizing sustainable winegrowing polices and practices directed toward improving their wines and their environment.
