Asconi Collection Pastoral

Dessert grape red wine made of grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in Moldova. It has a ruby color and a light, delicate taste of chocolate with a long finish. Goes well with red meats or salads.

Asconi was founded in 1994 and owns about 988 acres of vineyards growing Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Ottonel varieties near Geamana village in the Anenii Noi region of Moldova. The picturesque vineyards are situated about 25 miles to the south of Chishinau and 6 miles from the winery. They currently market their products in the Czech Republic, Poland, United States, Russia, Belorussia, Lithuania, Israel, and other countries. Asconi has acquired a reputation for providing high quality-value priced products customized to the needs of specific markets, thereby achieving a strong market position in each of the major markets.
