Produced and bottled by King Estate Winery, established in 1991 by the King family in Southwest Eugene, Oregon, near the town of Lorane. The beautiful estate of 1,033 acres is certified organic and includes 470 acres of spectacular mountain vineyards, as well as 30 acres of fruits, vegetables, flowers, olive trees, and a host of native wildlife including cougar and black bear. Situated atop the rolling-oak and fir-covered slopes of the Coast Range foothills, King Estate is crowned by the charming, European-style winery where the winemaking process is also certified organic. However, sulfites are added to their wines, so their wines are not certified organic. As one of Eugene's finest dining experiences with their Restaurant and Wine Bar, King Estate is also home to an innovative and forward-looking culinary program whose focus is the synergy of local, organically produced food and wine created just outside the kitchen door.
