Acha Blanca 2013
Blend | California | United States
Aromas of cantaloupe, lychee, creamy minerals, and apricot delight the nose. With hints of white flowers, granny-apple skin, and chamomile, this wine is at once rich and delicate. The mouth is tropical and minerally, where fruit and acid are synchronized wonderfully to a crispy, zesty finish.
76% Albarinyo, 24% Verdejo. California grown Albarino and a dash of Verdejo blend to make the flagship white wine a Mark Herold. It’s both sumptuous and crisp, with notes of cantaloupe, chamomile, and juicy grapefruit, plus plenty of lush minerality. A worthy summer sipper at a very attractive price.
