The wine was matured in French and American oak barrels for 10 months. A dry red wine with a violet Bordeaux color. The wine is notable for its aromas of black fruits, mulberry, oak, walnut, and toasted green pepper in the background.
Zion Winery is the oldest winery in Israel. The winery was founded in 1848 by the Shor family in the Old City of Jerusalem, near the Western Wall. During the British Mandate, the winery moved to the Beit Yisrael neighborhood, where they remained until moving to their current location in Mishor Adumim. The Shor family has grown up in the winery, where they acquired their love for wine and learned the secrets of the domain.
