Much like the regular Paje in style but magnified. Very intense flavours yet this keeps its shape, definition and charm. Red fruit notes of strawberry and kirsch with a kick of rock salt. Profound and sophisticated yet this glides smoothly across the palate and culminates in a lifted, mineral ethereal red fruit finish.
Dark garnet-ruby color. A mix of small red fruits - raspberries, currants, cherries, rhubarb and pomegranate - with toffee andcola nut, beginning to show secondary characteristics.
Intense garnet with orange nuances. On the nose the wine is elegant with notes of violet, small red fruits and leather. On the palate it is structured and harmonious, with persistent and soft tannins. A wine that is suited for lengthy aging in the cellar.
The 2015 Barolo is a stellar entry-level wine. Pliant and supple, Castello di Verduno's straight Barolo offers a striking combination of mid-palate generosity and classic structure.
A youthful Barbaresco that boasts crushed cherries, earth, and violets. A wine best decanted and served with hearty, wild stews and gamey poultry. Aged in large, old French and Austrian barrels.
