Cellier du Pont D'Arc Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp and refreshing white wine hailing from the Ardèche region of France. Made exclusively from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, this wine boasts a bright and lively character with a complex bouquet of citrus and tropical fruits, such as grapefruit, lime, passion fruit, and pineapple, along with herbaceous notes of grass, mint, and sage.
Maison Bernard Magrez settled in Châteauneuf first of all for the exceptional quality of its terroir, but also because Pope Clément V, a Bordeaux native who owned Château Pape Clément, became the first pope of Avignon. His summer residence was Châteauneuf du Pape, thus creating a very strong link with Château Pape Clément, Grand Cru Classé de Graves. Great wines always have a great history.
Eric Texier single-handedly rescued Brezeme, an obscure sub-region of the Northern Rhone where heritage Syrah is grown. This wine is his staple: 100% Syrah produced from middle-aged, south-facing vines. It's a great introduction to Texier's wines, but also just a great value in Northern Rhone loveliness.
The color pours into an intense cherry-red colour. The nose greets you to the aromas of small red fruits and blackcurrants. The palate is very round wine with aromas of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry.
