This Rosso was aged for 8 months in 500L French oak barrels and 4 months in the bottle prior to release. Just like our Brunello, our Rosso is made with the same vinification process and incredibly low yields at harvest. The area is known for production of Brunello, a dark-skinned, low-yielding clone of Sangiovese, although the Rosso is made from the fruit of the younger vines, for a lighter style.
