1848 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve 2014 is a distinguished red wine from the Galilee region in Israel. The Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru shows a beautiful yellow colour. The aromas of peaches and toasted almonds perfectly combine with flavours of brioche and flint. Aromas of fresh almonds are present as well as a great roundness. Lovely length and liveliness. A beautiful and promising wine.

Grivot's 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Roncières has a clean, quite pure bouquet with cranberry, bergamot and wild hedgerow aromas, developing rose petal/pressed flower scents with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine line of acidity, fleshy and rounded with a caressing, poised finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

An alluring plum red, with scents of dark cherries, chocolate shavings and violets. A hint of Napa Valley dust comes through on the nose, which has an equal balance of fruit, oak and earthiness. Enters the palate with a soft suppleness, peaking with flavors or cassis, dark berries, lavender and nutmeg. Texturous and fills the mouth. The exceptionally long finish displays a harmony of grippiness, vanilla oak and lush fruit.

With a bright and pale yellow color, Corton-Charlemagne displays a complex nose of almonds, vanilla and smoky notes. A full wine that is very powerful with almond flavors, honey and vanilla. Very beautiful length for this exceptional wine.

The 2016 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chalumaux, from vines planted in 1946, was cropped at just six to ten hectoliters per hectare this year. It has a harmonious bouquet of Granny Smith apples, fresh pear and subtle scents of passion fruit that betray the sunny period at the end of the growing season. The palate is fresh and crisp with a fine bead of acidity, very succinct and poised with a delightful salinit on the finish. Excellent.
