The first wine made by Esporão in 1985. Obtained from grapes grown at Herdade do Esporão, it shows the consistency and rich character typical of the best Alentejo wines.
Dark ruby in color. Excellent aroma intensity, with floral notes of violet and expressive aromas of wild fruits. On the palate it starts in an appealing way, evolving into a balanced wine, with excellent volume and structure.
Red colour. Very rich aromas of ripe young fruits. Strong and full-bodied, long and persistent finish.
An easy blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, the wine is full of black fruits and soft tannins and has a touch of minerality. The wine is ready to drink.
With an appealing aromatic intensity, it presents woody notes, aromas of nuts, light smoke, sweet and balsamic aromas, due to the stage in wooden barrels. On the palate, sweetness is compensated by acidity, which gives it freshness and balance, reveals notes of nuts, roasted coffee, torrefaction and light chocolate. Persistent aftertaste of nuts, especially walnuts.
With a floral aroma of citrus, lemon and lime, it reveals a pleasant aromatic freshness with slight nuances of wood. On the palate it is velvety, fresh and balanced with notes of fruit, citrus, dry apricot and slight woody nuances. It results in an elegant and fresh set, with a long and persistent aftertaste of ripe citrus fruits and nuts, walnuts and almonds.
