With a beautiful pale gold color and green reflections, this Chablis has a powerful, fresh and floral nose with notes of fresh almond and hazelnut, citrus, and white flowers. The mouth is balanced, minerally, and restrained. The evolution and finish are more subdued, taking on an acid character, with a delicacy highlighted by its great freshness.
Sourced from several plots all situated in the lieu-dit of Les Boucauds, this cuvée employs close to 50% of the Sauvignon Blanc planted on the estate. Entirely from terres blanches soils – marls and clays over Kimmeridgian limestone – this wine represents a pure expression of this site as well as the deft winemaking of Stéphane Riffault.
Very nice deep ruby color, dazzling. Nose of black cherry, salted caramel, gingerbread. Full and indulgent on the palate with notes of brioche. Very nice impression of sweetness.
Pale green-yellow color. Intense vegetal and citrus aromas on the nose. An unctuous, yet powerful, palate. The intense gooseberry flavors are complimented by a long lasting finale.
The Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru shows a beautiful yellow colour. The aromas of peaches and toasted almonds perfectly combine with flavours of brioche and flint. Aromas of fresh almonds are present as well as a great roundness. Lovely length and liveliness. A beautiful and promising wine.
