Bright yellow straw color, with green hints that reflect its youth. Aromas of tropical fruits (pineapple) and citrus fruits first appear along with white fruits (apple) and herbs, such as boxwood and fennel.

A bright, balanced and light- to medium-bodied white, offering hints of stone and petrol underscored by flavors of yellow apple and pear fruit and hints of blood orange pate de fruits, anise and Marcona almond. Lightly mouthwatering and supple on the finish.

A wine of a straw yellow color, clean, bright and with medium intensity. Very expressive on the nose with notes of fresh white flowers and fruit. The passage through the mouth is fresh and persistent, but without losing the balanced acidity typical of Godello.

Vetus means forbidden in Latin. The vines are located at an altitude of 810 to 930 m, in the northernmost area of ​​Rueda (Segoría); here the harvest is about 3 weeks later than elsewhere in the DO.
