In order to be a representative of the whole Danube appellation KAMPTAL, vineyards and grapes from the lower part of the valley, as well as grapes from the upper and higher altitude part of valley are used. The grapes from the lower part bring the maturity, whereas grapes from the upper part of the valley brings us the freshness in this wine. The ‘classical’ KAMPTAL wine is low in Alcohol (11,5 – 12,5%) and has a pleasant but not obtrusive aroma and fruit character and therefore is a perfect food companion.
Vaziani produces this 2018 Vaziani Makashvili Kisi Qvevri Géorgie Blanc, a white wine from Georgia harvested in 2018.
Makashvili Wine Cellar is one of the oldest and most well respected estates in Georgia. The 2018 Khikhvi is produced from estate grown hand harvested grapes from the village of Kardenakhit. It is aged in Qvevri for 6 months with skins and stems.
Light orange color wine with golden highlights, made in Qvevri, traditional ancient technology. Intense aromas of dried apricot, yellow peach and melon. The palate is soft and rich, with elegant citrus custard notes. Long finish with silky tannins.
Pink-hued and funky, this skin-contact orange wine brims with clementine and orange peel notes on the nose, supported by an overtone of honeysuckle. The light palate has a texture reminiscent of citrus pith and tingles with freshness, while clementine and white pepper notes are highlighted by the bone-dry nature. Dry, clean, and crisp with citrus notes, yellow plum, light green apple, & a hint of white pepper. The latin for Hungarian cricket roughly means clever cricket. Its favorite food includes the leaves of vine tedrils. Research has shown that there are certain varieties of grapes whose leaves the clever cricket will not touch. These are primarily the leaves of the Grüner Veltliner grape.

This dry amber wine is made of Goruli Mtsvane grape variety, derived from the Kartli region. It was made in Qvevri using the Georgian traditional method with the long skin contact. It has amber color and dominant aromas of yellow fruits and almond at the beginning and dried fruits and spices at the finish. This Goruli mtsvane wine is well balanced and has the velvety tannins. It perfectly pairs with the grilled vegetables and barbeque.
Aromas of ripe peach, apricot, pear and jasmine. Distinguished by the pleasant fruit tones and cheerful, refreshing and harmonious taste. A balanced fresh white.
Produced from Kisi grapes grown in our estate owned vineyards in village Tsinadali of Kakhet region. Fermentation is driven by natural yeast. Aged in oak barrels. This golden color wine with aromas of spices, quince and ripe fruits is full-body, with soft tannins and a long harmonious ending. Recommended serving temperature 52-54 degrees F.
