This wine has a nose of clementine and vanilla bean. It offers good mouthfeel, with nectarine, honeydew melon, pineapple and almond blossom flavors that finish with a touch of iodine.
In 2013, Covenant expanded its wine production from California to Israel. Co-owners Jeff Morgan and Leslie Rudd were inspired by many new Israeli wineries and the terroir of the Galilee and Golan Heights. The landscape reminded them of both California and France’s Rhône Valley. And a winemaking home in Israel seemed like a natural choice.
