Zavala is a blend which is only vinified in the best quality harvests for red wines in Maipo Valley. The blend changes every vintage year to best express its own personality.
Vinya Tarapaca was founded in 1874, in the feet of Andes range. Since then they've been making wines that are a reflection of their hundred-plus-year-old tradition and contemporary elegance. In 1876, just two years after its foundation, Vinya Tarapaca obtained its first international award at the Centennial International Exhibition in Philadelphia, United States. They are also part of the VSPT Wine Group, which has wineries in Chile and Argentina. This wine is a blend of three varieties from different terroirs of Maipo Valley in Chile; Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, and it was aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months.
