Vina San Pedro 1865 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
1865 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Vinya San Pedro's Alto Maipo Valley vineyard planted 40 years ago with vines propagated by massal selection. The Mediterranean climate features average, summer-high temperatures that hover around 86 degrees F, and cobblestones 20 in. below the surface—conditions that give rise to this tremendously elegant wine with red fruits on the nose and palate.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in year 1865, Vinya San Pedro is nowadays one of the largest and oldest exporters of Chilean wine and one of the most important wineries in the country. San Pedro's main vineyard, wine cellar, and hundred-year-old underground cava cellar are located in Molina, in Curico Valley, 124 miles south of Santiago. There, San Pedro has one of the largest stretches of vineyards in Latin America, with 2,965 acres.
