Uno De Mil Tempranillo-Petit Verdot 2011
Clear deep ruby red colour. Clean mouth watering aromas of red cherries, strawberries and mature plums combines with sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate it is dry, medium bodied with a pleasant balance between acidity and soft tannins.
Uno de Mil is an Estate wine produced from organically grown and biodynamically farmed Tempranillo and Petit Verdot grapes. They were night harvested in September. Previously macerated for 1 day at a temperature of 7ºC, fermentation was carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks maintaining the temperature between 22ºC-24ºC. Uno de Mil has been aged in French new oak barrels for 12 months.
