Tortoise Creek Pinot Noir Mission Grove 2014
Our Pinot Noir “Mission Grove” has lovely aromas of violets and ripe cherries and is soft on the palate, delicate but with delightful impressions of raspberries and other red fruits. “Mission Grove” refers to the native Californian Olive cultivar, originally planted at the San Diego Mission by Franciscan monks. Mission olives grow throughout California, close to areas we source our Pinot Noir. A seven day fermentation process during which the wine is cold soaked for 2 days and pumped over twice a day. It is then allowed to go through malolactic fermentation and later aged on French Oak for 12 months.
Due to restrictive state laws and regulations, we are prohibited to ship to the following states: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pensylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
For the states of Louisiana and New Hampshire, we are planning to obtain permits to be able to ship to these states.
Every effort is made to display accurate vintages (the year the grapes were harvested) on our wines, however some vintages may not have been updated. You have the option to either allow or decline a vintage substitution if we do not have the listed vintage in stock.
