100% Merlot. Produced and bottled by Olivino, Inc., founded in 2004 by Italian, Swiss, and American partners. Terra Savia wines are estate grown and made exclusively from their beautiful 65-acre Olivino's Sanel Valley Vineyard at the base of Duncan Creek in Hopland, California. The Terra Savia name means "Wise Earth," so they like to think of their vineyard as a large organic garden in their front yard where they grow their wines in harmony with nature around them. They are happy with the limits of their production and strive to produce the best quality wines for the best practice with as little impact on their surroundings as possible. Every practice is analyzed thoughtfully with an effort to make wise decisions maintaining a balanced and healthy environment. In addition to producing award-winning organic wines, Olivino Wines produces extra virgin olive oil, olive oil products, and honey with a special commitment towards land conservation and wildlife preservation - herons, wild turkeys, quail, and California river turtles share the waters of the nearby creeks and Olivino's irrigation ponds.
