Teperberg 1870 Winery Terra Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2011
The grapes for this wine were picked from the vineyards of the Judean hills. Moderate-low night temperatures in this region contribute to the high-quality grapes. This typical bend is made of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Bordeaux color. A nose of red forest fruit with cherries and a hint of the French oak barrels convey the bouquet of this wine. On the palate, the soft tannins complement this full-bodied wine. This wine was aged for six months in French oak barrels.
Kosher. Wine has been an essential part of the Teperberg family for generations. Abraham Teperberg was the first drawn to the art of winemaking in 1852 in Jerusalem. Today, over 150 years later, the fifth generation builds on the family's distinguished heritage, producing exceptionally fine wine from their estate in Israel.
