Teperberg 1870 Winery Legacy Petite Sirah 2012
The wine's color is intense, dark red. It is characterized by an aromatic balance between the fruit (cherry and sugared raspberry) and the roasted-wood aroma. The wine, which matured in oak barrels for 18 months, has a soft flavor and rich texture.
Avraham Teperberg (1st generation) immigrates to Jerusalem in the late 19th century, after mastering winemaking in Austria. He settles inside the walls of the old city and establishes the Teberberg Winery. Today, over 150 years later, the fifth generation builds on the family's distinguished heritage, producing exceptionally fine wines from their estate in Israel. Legacy Petite Sirah is the product of precise Vineyard cultivation, strict control, and high-quality harvest. The wine originates at Ayalon Valley vineyards, which emphasize the nature and qualities of this particular variety.
