Teperberg 1870 Winery Kinor Violin 2011
Blend | Israel
A bouquet of oak and a touch of coffee combine with its deep, full red color. On the palate, hints of dried fruit, plums, and cherry accompany the balanced sweetness of this full-bodied wine.
Wine has been an essential part of the Teperberg family for generations. Abraham Teperberg was first drawn to the art of winemaking in 1852 in Jerusalem. Today, over 150 years later, the fifth generation builds on the family's distinguished heritage, producing exceptionally fine wines from their estate in Israel. This dessert wine, produced from 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, has been matured in French oak barrels for a year.
