First introduced in 1979, the 12 year old is at the very heart of our core range and demonstrates rich, well balanced malty tones, with the subtle floral smoke which makes Highland Park such a distinctive single malt whisky.

Dried fruits ripen, then soften showing off velvet sateen. Vanilla accompanies green apple hand in hand, neither taking the lead. Ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon create an ensemble in the background, with polished oak offering to overstate, yet never does, but plays with a depth of resinous, juicy oranges.
Fragrant red apple skin, orange peel, fruit cake, vanilla and redcurrant. Palate: Silky dried fruits, almost perfumed, with dark toasty notes and some warming ginger. Finish: Figs and dark spices. Overall: Comforting and luxurious Sherried Speyside whisky.
A 2006 Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition single malt that was finished in an oloroso sherry cask and bottled in 2021. Aromas of buttery biscuits, orange, honey and apricot fill the nose, complemented by notes of sweet malt, caramel, figs, red apples and soft hints of peat smoke throughout the palate.
