Produced with high rye content and a higher proof, this bourbon highlights more spice and a dryer flavor. Sharp, herbaceous notes lead into a great body with citrus peel finish. Pre-prohibition, this style of rye was preferred as it is ideal neat and shines in any cocktail.
The Redemption whiskey range was launched in 2010 by Dave Schmier and Michael Kanbar, with a focus on the awesomeness of rye - their range includes a rye whiskey and a high-rye content bourbon, as well as a barrel-proof rye whiskey. The whiskey is distilled by MGP of Indiana in Lawrenceburg, carefully selected by for the Redemption range and bottled in small batches.
