An aging of 4 years in oak casks brings to this old rum the sweetness of roasted aromas, vanilla notes. Tannins that have become supple give it roundness and complexity. To taste in old punch, planter, or digestive.
La Favorite was founded in 1842. Before being the distillery that we know today, La Favorite produced cane sugar. It was when the distillery was bought by Henri Dormoy that it was modernized and turned into a distillery. It is then equipped with a steam engine, still in service today. It is the only distillery in Martinique that still runs completely steam.
