Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Dark black in color, the nose gives an immediate aroma of dark, smoky chocolate, leading into ripe blackberries and sweet cherries with notes of clove, vanilla, and cocoa powder. The palate is smooth and rich with ripe, developed tannins giving the wine a full arc in the mouth and giving flavors of blackberry and a hint of smoky, sweet oak. Sequoia Grove blends superior Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyard and from renowned Napa Valley growers to create a Cabernet of traditional character, structure, and a true sense of place. Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is recognized for its richness and balance, soft tannins, and full varietal flavor, and expresses a unique and elegant complexity which defines the Sequoia Grove Cabernet winemaking style.
