Rubin was founded in 1955 and is one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in Serbia and Montenegro. Their headquarters and production facilities are located in Krusevac, some 118 miles south of Belgrade, Serbia. Rubin's best known product is Vinjak, a richly, blended Cognac which accounts for about 70% of total sales. Together, brandy and wine make up about 90% of the company's production. Rubin is also a private enterprise owned by Invej, a company based in Belgrade. They still continue to keep the leading position in the Serbian market, while exporting Serbian wines and spirits to EU countries, Russia, Australia, Canada, and the USA.
