The wine gleams with a rich, deep, almost opaque ruby hue. It exhibits all the hallmarks of well-grown Cabernet Franc with a fragrance reminiscent of a thicket of ripe blackberries, dried aromatic herbs and complex flavors of sweet spice, licorice, pepper and cocoa. Never a timid wine, yet never overdone, it is balanced by a solid framework of mouthwatering brightness and ripe tannins for a wine with a great future. Decanting is suggested.
