Marsannay reds are intense color, bouquet hairline of red fruit (cherry, strawberry) and black (blackcurrant, blueberry). The palate, powerful and generous blends a fat final and good length. White exploit the full range of citrus and white flowers (hawthorn, acacia). Mouth, often full and round, opens beautiful mineral frames, all in length.
René Bouvier Domaine is located in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy close to famous areas Geantet-Pansiot , Jean-Louis Trapet and Jerome Galeyrand . Family owned for over a century, René, grandfather Bernard Bouvier (the current owner) who created the field in 1910. The vineyard property extends over 17 hectares of vineyards in Gevrey names Chambertin Charmes Chambertin, Marsannay, Fixin and Chambolle-Musigny. High Black grapes are Pinot and Chardonnay. Anxious to render more qualitative, the René Bouvier Domaine practice a reasoned culture and a selection of the best grains.
